“Born and raised in El Salvador, my love for cooking was nurtured from an early age. My mother was the heart of every celebration in our small town, preparing meals for birthdays, weddings, and community gatherings. Watching her, I was drawn to the kitchen, captivated by the way food could bring people together.
At 16, I left my home country in search of new opportunities, working tirelessly to build a life for myself. When I found Rossoblu, I immediately felt at home. I started as a dishwasher and worked my way up, embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. Over the years, I immersed myself in the craft, gaining invaluable experience from the talented chefs who shaped the kitchen. Through dedication and hard work, I built strong friendships and mentorships, especially with Steve and Dina Samson, who have been instrumental in my journey.
Los Angeles has taught me that food is the heartbeat of culture—a reflection of the city's incredible diversity. Experiencing different cuisines and ideas every day inspired me to create Taste of LA, a catering service that celebrates the flavors, traditions, and innovation that make this city so special.”
